Product Description
PTFE anti-static pure film tape is manufactured from skived or cast PTFE without glass fiber reinforcement. Compared to glass-fiber-backed PTFE tape, the pure film version is thinner and far more conformable, making it the right choice for wrapping small-diameter rollers, irregular profiles, and components with tight contours.
Its inherent anti-static behaviour suits environments where electrostatic discharge must be controlled — electronics manufacturing, cleanroom processing, and pharmaceutical production lines.
Key Properties
- Operating range: −70 °C to 260 °C (retains full strength after prolonged 250 °C exposure)
- Non-stick surface — nothing adheres; residue and contamination wipe off instantly
- Chemically inert — unaffected by strong acids, alkalis, aqua regia, and most organic solvents
- Dimensionally stable — elongation at break below 5 %
- Flex-fatigue resistant — wraps cleanly around small-diameter rollers without cracking
- Non-toxic and pharmacologically inert — safe for food-contact and pharmaceutical use
- Self-extinguishing — meets flame-retardancy requirements
Available Widths
Standard widths: 13, 19, 25, 30, 40, 50, and 100 mm. Custom widths on request.
Applications
- Anti-static roller wrapping in electronics and film-processing lines
- Electrical insulation in ESD-sensitive environments
- Pharmaceutical and food-grade surface protection
- Chemical-resistant lining for chutes and guides
