Peel Ply

Peel ply, also known as Release fabric is a plain woven but porous nylon fabric with red/blue lines. Such peel ply can also be made from PET(Polyester)
When the laminate is cured and peel ply is peeled off, you'll get a smooth and harmful edges free surface.
Apart from keeping the surface smooth, peel ply  leaves a texture on the surface which is helpful in bonding the laminate to another substrate.
When used in wet-lay up process,  peel ply allows you to remove trapped air without displacing the carbon/glass fabrics.

 

  • Material: Nylon and PET
  • Temperature resistance: 150 - 230 C
  • Width: 10 cm, 20 cm, 50 cm, 100 cm, 150, 180 cm etc.
  • Length per roll: 100/200 meters
